ceramics

A taste of France in London.

Something delicious.

At the Victoria and Albert Museum I look at 400 examples of French
lace. Rich examines a collection of armour. The tapestries and textiles are incredible and
equally amazing is how they have climate-controlled the entire exhibit . We also look at
an exhibition of womens fashions from the 17th century to the present
day. A woman donates her designer wardrobe to the museum. It consists of over 300 outfits.
The designs range from very classic to totally outrageous high fashion.
Sipping coffee at a lovely Patisserie on Oxford Street, a Full Fat
mochaccino is worth every sip
very hot, very chocolatey. Very foamy. There are
scones and jelly-filled doughnuts. Walking back through Hyde Park, its fresh
but not cold. And empty. There are very few people walking through the park in comparison
to the streets. |

Our trip mantra in plain english

Rich takes a break from a jelly doughnut

To sit in a London Park.
